The folks at Emerging Media & Digital Arts join all the faculty, staff, and students at Southern Oregon University in welcoming David Bithell and Robert Clift to SOU! As EMDA-affiliated faculty in the Art and Communication departments, professors Bithell and Clift bring a wealth of expertise and experience to our digital-media programs. Welcome, friends!
Devoted to the exploration of the intersection between experimental music and theater, David Bithell’s use of live performance, video, staging, music technology, and improvisation create abstract narratives that balance between the tragic and comic. Professor Bithell will be offering a section of EMDA 350, Projects in Digital Media, in the fall term, and team-teaching EMDA 202, Digital Media Foundations II, this winter.
